If anyone has a set of Rainer Müller's finest around, please let me know... I know I could wait for Duponts here or go to Finland, but before I go the wait or import route figured I'd ask here.
@Charlie Castelluzzo AJL took over Herr Müller's operation, I think, and has a steady supply available if you get in touch w/him.
They're the same except for different initials from what I could gather. I also believe they have modern Schaller internals rather than a replica of the HSC gears, which is probably a good thing?
To close the book on my WTB: I ended up abandoning my quest as my luthier had some of the gold, discontinued Schallers classic deluxe ($$$). No QC issues so they're great.
And for those on the search, this puts available closed tuner Selmer-ish aesthetic options I could find as: vintage SB ($$$$$), Dupont ($$$$), AJL ($$$$), Gallato ($$$), and AG ($$$). Cool that the latter is available here now on DB, btw.
Open-gear Schallers ($$) and Gotohs ($$), and Grover, Rubner, and Stew Mac's stuff ($) are obviously extremely good at doing their job — maybe better? — but there's something cool about the old school look that I think we can all understand.

I just purchased from Finland and was a good experience. You will get the VAT off the order as well outside the EU. Look very nice on my dupont :)
There aren't any of these left, right?

I was pleasantly surprised that the AG replicas are only $180 in the store here.
I should add, "only" compared to DuPont which are more than double that. I think Miller were in the high $300s bracket too.
I have them on my recently acquired Altamira M-30 D, they're superb.
