Last week, Rob Bamberger spotlighted Django on his Hot Jazz Saturday Night program. The link to the WAMU site is below. You'll see the recording labeled as December 30, 2023. The portion featuring Django starts right about the 1:00:00 hour mark. Unless you are a modern-day Bill Savory, the show will probably disappear some time next Monday or Tuesday. So, if you are interested in hearing a ~2hr program, you might want to check it out this weekend.

This past Sunday's show had an interesting format about various jazz albums that were all recorded on the same day. One he features was Django playing for Swing records with Bill Coleman and a bunch of other big band folks. Follow the same link as above, it will be the only current show available. The Django piece starts at ~1hr in and goes until the 1h30m mark. So about 30 mins. 1937 recordings. Includes 2 pieces with just Django and Andre Ekyan.
