Don't know how I did it but I am not playing any guitars right now. I was clearing some junk in the shed last weekend, maybe bashed, maybe got bitten, Doctor can't tell me but it swelled up with many bright colors by Tuesday, so I have to stay on the antibiotics for a week. Doubly annoying as I am planning to go to Paris next week and for obvious reasons do not want to travel overseas with a potential medical problem.

Do keep a close eye on it. Hand infections can be challenging sometimes to get rid of so if you feel like it's getting worse make sure you let your doctor know.

If it's a bacterial infection and the antibiotics are making it improve, then I'd think traveling is ok. See what the doc says. A friend had a bacterial infection of the foot. Nobody knew how it got in, it always stayed a mystery but eventually antibiotics took care of it.

Currently traveling in Europe (from US). Had a tooth go ballistic and had to get a root canal in Switzerland, and then an abscess lanced and drained in Portugal. Finishing up antibiotics and loving the trip.
