this product looks interesting. With a little more design that could have something like this, which i think would be cooler and more flexible for us bar gigging guys.
Was that Antoine video all direct to an audio interface from the NVTONE or were other mics incorporated as well? If the former and only the NVTONE direct to board/interface, it sounds absolutely fantastic.
I used to do the Shure lavalier and will admit I'm hesitant to consider going back to a dynamic or tranducer mic after living life in the post-feedback world for a minute now...really love the contact mic and magnetic pickup combo I've been using...BUT wow, that NVTONE sounds vastly superior to the lavalier option so now my brain's in decision mode lol
I might have to hit up Antoine for some feedback, no pun intended
Well yes, it sounds great. But most $200 condenser mics will as well. How is this one different? Unless they figured some sort of magic to make it highly feedback resistant.
I bought two of these microphones on the black friday sale, I'll report back.
I'm interested though, is there another condenser that would only need two leads (Hot and Ground) that people use and like, perhaps that's not super expensive? I am wondering about adding a piezo, permanenty installed, but that would leave me with one side of a stereo jack. I could have a plug that could either take my humbucking attachment or a microphone that could work with the piezo. It might work...

no magic, if you don't cut/filter the low end it will squeal like a piggy if you are close to any reflecting surface or facing your monitor/amp

I'm underwhelmed by the steel-string implementations--a bit thin--though the classicals sound reasonable.
