Does Hono Winterstein EVER play lead? Has anyone ever seen him play lead? I'm just curious to see if anyone has ever heard him NOT play rhythm.

He Doesn't, he's a sideman, period... I saw him in Samois two weeks ago with Bireli and his solo (he kept playing rhythm, but alone) was something unbelievable. A sideman, but among the best.

I think it was on Move, from the Live in Paris DVD. But I'm too lazy to look it up too!

Jack.

I happened to see him play a few notes on his Hahl guitar during the sound check before a gig, as Bireli was a little late...
