hi guys

I wonder if this is possible to buy somewhere score for this song or some kind of tutorial so that one can learn to play this beautiful piece. On soundslice I recently bought beautiful tutorial for bistro fada but couldn't find tutorial for django' waltz. Can anybody help? regards. rafal

    You can download the Django fake book off the net, it's free and the piece is in there. You need to know how to read notes though and it does not give fingering which is important for some of the most difficult passages. Denis Chang may have a tutorial on it as he has this link...

    I think there are a number of tabs out there for free too. Look in the Repertoire section of this forum

    Hey Rafa, did you ever find what you needed? Coincidentally I was looking thru some charts and found a version that I had tabbed out a long time ago and forgot about. If you want it I can scan it and send it to you but no guarantees of accuracy. I have a note on it that it is based on a version by Romane possibly this one but I can't remember.

    Also check out Barry Wahrhaftig's Gypsy Jazz Guitar Online blog. He has done some nice transcriptions including Django's Waltz (MSG).
