Oh interesting. Post some pics of it??? Yeah I was trying to figure out if it was an archtop or Selmac. :-)

    Is it an arch back?

Yes, Buco, that is indeed an old thread about my 2006 Michael Dunn guitar, thanks for providing the link to it.

It doesn't have an arched back, Mike, though come to think of it, yes! that would have been an excellent idea.

The original dream was a guitar that would sound like Lang for rhythm and like Django for single-string playing,

And once I removed the interior resonator box, which turned out to be a big fat dud, and got some cosmetic work done on the rosette, happily, this instrument turned out as I had dreamed...

So now all I need is the talent to play like my inspirational guitar gods, the holy trinity... Lang the father, Django the son, and Oscar the Holy Ghost...

Paul Cezanne: "I could paint for a thousand years without stopping and I would still feel as though I knew nothing."

Edgar Degas: "Only when he no longer knows what he is doing does the painter do good things.... To draw, you must close your eyes and sing."

Georges Braque: "In art there is only one thing that counts: the bit that can’t be explained."
