Wow, beautiful axe! Is the neck close to a Selmer/GJ profile or is it more modern archtop? Asking because I'm thinking about buying another archtop at some point in the near future but I'm trying to find one that's closer to an archtop version of a Selmer than most other archtops.

I’m not sure how it compares to most GJ guitars. My only GJ guitars have been a Cigano Gj-10 and an Aria Grande bouche. Neither one of those were particularly nice.

This is more of a c shape. I referenced the Benedetto book/video a lot as well as the guitar my dad built for me. I found out recently, He also used the Benedetto tutorials as a starting point.

so, yes, probably closer to a modern Archtop. Part of my motivation in building my own guitars is not access to a ton of archtops or GJ guitars where I live.

I am planing on making my next one a hybrid GJ/archtop.

    15” body. Possibly with a d-hole

    25 1/2” scale

cedar top, walnut back and sides. Maple neck

Awesome on the hybrid!!! I look forward to your posts about building it! And again, beautiful archtop - looks like you were meant to be a builder because it sure looks sweet!
