What made 831 replace the 4099?
Your gigs always have great energy. Your playing is almost reckless at times but that's what's great about it. You're damn good man, I especially love your comping. Even Eduardo seemed surprised by what was happening during your violin/guitar duet version of Nuages.

About the dpa i think it s great and very precise (sometimes maybe too much) so the result sometimes was lacking a bit of dirt, which i find in the 831 that isn t as precise and colors a bit the sound, makes it a tiny bit fuller , bringing extra meat in the low and mids register
