Hey guys, i'm looking for a pre 1935 Gibson L-5, small body 16 inches, please hit me up if you consider parting with one or if you know a cool one for sale.
Thanks in advance

Romaine, this one is not the legendary 16” L-5, but close…a 1925 L-3…
It has that classic twenties Gibson look and the price seems reasonable…
i suspect a decent L-5 would be at least ten times this price…
Good luck!

The same place offers an L-7…

Ok maybe I was wrong, here’s a real 16” L5 for about 10K Canadian…

That's a reissue from '95 Will.
The real vintage that Romain is looking for is considerably more, like this one. But that seems to be their going price.

Hey buddy Will!
Romain, does your buddy, Jonathan Stout have the insider info about what's available?
First place I'd look would be TR Crandall in NYC. Tom sees all manner of hard-to-find guitars and is also a first-rate restoration/repair guy. (I've played a '29 L-5 that he restored--magical.)
hey thanks for the info ! that L3 seams nice but i m more into the L5 ! Carefull the other link you sent at 10k cad is a reissue made in 1995, not the real deal :)
i ll sure drop him a line
true ! i haven t met him yet but seams very reputable indeed
