jazz places in milan and around

Hey all
Im based in Paris and I should be coming to Milan for work for a couple of months starting february. Could you please give me some hints for places to listen and play (if any)? to get me started. or is Milan lost to the cause?... Im a violinist myself. Gypsy or other jazz styles. Open, cheap places with jam sessions definitely preferred over others. thanks a lot
