Hi All,
I'm still noticing little things about my new (used) Latch Drom Djangology, and today I noticed that the top has some vertical curves (not along archtop, see photos). Should I be concerned? Do other guitars have this? I don't care about the aesthetics... I just want note any weaknesses and take precautions. Humidity isn't much of a problem here in Davis, but I do watch it with a humidity monitor. And the thing sounds pretty great.
I don't know whether I'll ever be an excellent player if I keep practicing, but I'm absolutely sure I won't be if I stop.

I think it's not outside of normality. Bob has made some interesting posts about this topic in the past, i.e. http://www.djangobooks.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6134. I'm curious how compressed the tops of much older guitars are.
