Hi guys, I have installed a new pickup on my old archtop guitar. I have a problem with balance of pickup signal. 1st string gives lowest signal. 5th and 6th string give strongest and while playing its easiest to hear it over 7-12 fret. Would I be tarred & feathered for suggesting a Compressor pedal??
Mabey an MXR DynaComp, Keeley Compressor,or (my favorite) Visual Sound's Comp66??
