Just giving my two cents about the Debarre Volume 2 book. (I bought it some time ago from the uk). I found it to be more informative and better than Volume 1. There are interesting intros and choices of chords I haven`t seen in other gypsy texts. Also if you are a Debarre fan, this basically of book of Debarre tearing it up through the common changes of tunes we love. Daphne, Nuages, Djangology, Minor Swing etc. Lots of great death-defying riffs!!! Also Manege is a great waltz by Debarre!
As for the Roman book, I bought it a while ago too and was a bit disappointed with the unfamilar melodies and playbacks (it felt like the band speeds up at random times--maybe I`m wrong). There is a nice coltrane changes tune but otherwise I wish I had got the Romane DVD instead. Oh well...
Thanks to Mr. Horowitz! Its great to see you`re carrying books from abroad!
