Hi all,
for those who don't know it yet: "Bossa Dorado" is a composition of Dorado Schmitt. He first recorded his tune in 1986 on the LP "Notre Histoire" (with Hono Winterstein and Claudio Favari). On this LP the tune is in E minor. So you can say that it is originally in E minor.
Since the Rosenbergs sold more copies of their CD than Dorado did with his LP, most people only know the later version.
Please keep in mind that some Djangologists are older than 40 years and can remember the origins; so please don't call it "odd" or "wrong" to play "Bossa Dorado" in E minor.

Three years later, in 1989, Stochelo Rosenberg and the Rosenberg Trio recorded the same tune on their CD "Seresta". They did the tune in D minor.
