Ta for that. The book seems to be impossible to obtain in the UK.
With money being very tight, I'm just not sure about paying virtually 50% on top for postage from this site (No criticism of Djangobooks intended - it doesn't control the overseas mail pricing).
Sorry to all our British friends about the book's shipping cost to the UK... I hate to take away any business from our beloved host at djangobooks.com, but perhaps it would be cheaper for those of you who are in Europe to order it directly from the publisher in France?
The online price is listed as 24 Euros, which I believe is roughly equivalent to 20 pounds...? Unfortunately, I don't know anything about postage France-to-UK.
Good luck! I'm just getting started with the book myself, but my impression so far is that if you buy it, you are going to look back at it as money well spent, much like "Gypsy Picking".
In Canadian dollars, the book cost me roughly the same as a lesson or two from a good GJ guitarist. And I think you'll find, if you are an intermediate player like me, that the depth of material in the book is probably going to keep you busy for at least a whole year.

Paul Cezanne: "I could paint for a thousand years without stopping and I would still feel as though I knew nothing."
Edgar Degas: "Only when he no longer knows what he is doing does the painter do good things.... To draw, you must close your eyes and sing."
Georges Braque: "In art there is only one thing that counts: the bit that can’t be explained."
