Mr Hulot's Holiday?

Mr Hulot's Holiday was on TBS today. Funny b&w French film from 1954. Very cool, light, swing background music throughout the film. Alot of vibes and electric guitar. Anyone know who played on the soundtrack? Fortunately I recorded it.

Great question, I've wanted to look into this before! I just found this page:

and your answer can be seen under the French title of the film, "Les vacances de Mr Hulot". The only musician names I recognize are Pascal Groffe, who was the bassist for Tony Murena and then Marcel Azzola, and the vibes player Géo Daly.
I really like the "Blue and Senitmental" disc mentioned lower on the page.

Thanks guys, interesting links. Nice to see it was here discussed before. Jean Pierre Sasson is listed on guitare. Lovely electric tone and recording quality. The music really compliments the vibe of the movie very well. It was listed as 1954 on TBS and 1953 in the credits, so the music was proabably done a year or two earlier. Fooling around with my new Time Warner cable box and recording alot of old movies. Glad I grabbed this one. Also got the Norman Granz short b&w film Jammin' The Blues with Lester Young and Barney Kessel (amongst others). Hot stuff.
