hi everyone,

i'm new to the forum,
only got strted in the style, but got hooked already,
and desperate to find a transcription on la valse des niglos, as i already have the chord progression,
that would also help me understand how it is built with the arpeggios and scales!!
i really love this tune, reminds me of summers back home in southern france...
if anyone can help it would awsome!

cheers

A transcription of it can be found in Romane's Impair & Valse book.

Here's a transcription, based on Jo Privat's recording.

thanks a lot for your quick reply and pdf,
but i should have said that i can't read actual music, only tabs,
yes i'm not only new to gypsy jazz, but also fairly new to guitar!
sorry about that, do you think the spot you got that from would have a tab style transcription?

    thanks again,
    cheers

I would recommend getting a slow down program and learning it by ear. It may seem longer in the short run but it is shorter in the long run.

No, I'm afraid not. I made that transcription up myself by ear for our violinist. Kevin's advice is very sound. The time you spend figuring it out for yourself will be well spent. I use Amazing Slow Downer from http://www.ronimusic.com/. It's worth every penny.
