Hi guys,
Looking to get a magnetic pickup for a D-Hole guitar (Gitane DG 320). Not sure if the same one could be used on a petite bouche, but I got that one covered by my Krivo Djangobucker.
The problem with it and the grande bouche is that it sits kind of in the middle of the ...er...comping area (?); while on the petite bouche, it goes right up, a la classical neck pickup position. Two very different sounds, without mentioning that I keep hitting the pickup with the pick.
Given this situation, I was looking to get a new toy for the grand bouche, either a Stimer 48 (?) or, the peche a la mouche.
As they say on the real state market, very motivated buyer here.
Let me know what you have (used) that can be sold and shipped to Canada, cheap
Thanks!

Of course, a squared off FB end is hardly my idea. I saw it on one of Bob Holo's oval hole guitars last year and thought, wow, that would work great for a clip-on mag pickup. The squared off fingerboard ends like this were fairly common on the f hole guitars made in the French gypsy guitar style. They in turn, were getting their style pointers from American archtops. Course f hole guitars, gypsy or otherwise, can't use a clip on mag, but the square end stopping well short of the sound hole area does have some precedent in gypsy guitars.
