Guitar Shops around Orange County, CA

Hey everyone,

As the title suggests, I am looking for guitar shops that sell gypsy jazz guitars around Orange County, CA. I have only recently gotten into gypsy jazz and I am looking to buy a gypsy guitar. I have seen the numerous online shops that sell them but I would much prefer buying it person so that I would be able to play them.

Yeah, I think you'll probably have to head north or south. Westwood Music on Westwood Blvd in West LA usually have one or two GJ guitars. Last time I was in, they had a couple of US made Dell Arte's. McCabes on Pico in Santa Monica are a Gitane/Cigano dealer and usually have a couple in stock. Occasionally a US made Dell Arte. Keep your eye on the local Craigs List. There was a used Dell Arte Jimmy Rosenberg model on there a while back. Also a Cigano at a super low price. A couple of times a year there's a vintage guitar show at the Orange County Fairgrounds. I think it's put on by the Texas Amigos. You might be lucky.

Buffalo Bros are a good group of people and have quite a collection of wood. Bought my Zwinakis from them. They normally have 4-5 GJs in stock but check their webpage - or better yet, give them a call - to make sure they aren't running lean when you go down to visit.

The Fretted Frog in Echo Park also has Gitanes and Ciganos, as well as a variety of GJ picks, including Wegens.
