Hi folks,
On its way to Djangobooks is my previous Castelluccia 1950s.
Red cedar top, mahogany back and sides. 670ish scale. The neck has been reinforced with some kind of kevlar. Tuners turn backward. The neck is D-shaped (as opposed to U).
In case this matters: 3 bracings on the top, none on the back. Pliage top, arched back.
If you're looking for the Selmer sound, look away: this one might make you change your mind.
Same style than the previous f-hole, D-hole and Bob Holo's copy. Same guitar that Dorado used to play.
Robin used it for his shows with Björn Thoroddsen at Blues Alley when he came to DC in October 2011, he wanted to buy it then... but I wasn't ready. This is an incredible guitar, but I can only keep one Castelluccia at a time.
See picture attached (rehearsal with Daisy).
Look for it soon on your favorite website.
