I found them to have higher tension than the Argentines, and that bothered me. If you can get them for about the same price as the Argentines you might consider them. One of the players in Bonnie Scotland loves them and gets much more longevity out of them. I thought they were a high class string, very good sound, but I didn't like the extra tension and the higher price. That's just me.
I liked them very much but they are a tad pricey. They use a hexagonal copper core as opposed to the Argentine's which don't hence the higher tension. They are slightly darker in tone to Argentine's and I found them also to be longer lasting and the quality to be very consistent. I'd recommend the 10 gauge set, they feel very similar to the Argentine 11 gauge.
