Clair de lune and improvisation 4 are two very beautiful, classy, and elegant songs. Would anyone have a tab of these? Thanks and happy holidays folks.
Djamn on,
-Michael any future, django unaccompanied part deux
You'll also find all kinds of non-Django takes by doing a Google image search for Claire de Lune. Not so much tab, though.
Best,
Jack.

In searching the forum for Clair de Lune I found this thread and was hoping to see if anyone out there had a version of Clair de Lune the version as played in the standard repotoire of this style (the melody that is I have the changes in the first Cosimini book) I see its is in Robins gig book and version 6 neither of which I have. Anyone know of a place where this could be found?
thanks in advance.
Hard work beats talent, when talent doesn't work hard.
Is the Gypsy Jazz Clair de Lune just a version of Debussy's Clair de Lune? If anyone wants it, I have a powertab file I made of Debussy's Clair de Lune, and I usually just throw in some improv over the tune to make it a little more Django-esque.
i've been trying to transcribe clair de lune. (at least the django solo part of it) and this is what i've come up with so far. only been trying for 2 days now so i haven't gotten much accomplished. could anyone let me know if i'm playing anything wrong? if it doesn't sound correct etc? (i know the timing is off, i still need to work on that....just talking about the notes.

No, it's written by Joseph Kosma (who also composed Autumn Leaves).
Since Integrale 13 (Fremeaux) by mistake printed Django as composer of Clair de lune it has been frequently attributed to him in GJ context - in prints and discs and also in the pdfs in this thread. But in this case credits really belong to Kosma.
