Hi'ya Vagabond Bailsman. You might check with Michael Horowitz about the status on the two lefties he has posted as on-order or pre-order:

    Gitane D-500 LEFTY (Limited Edition) On-order $775
    Altamira M-01 LEFTY (pre-order) $999

By the way, if you care to share your name and the lefty GJ guitar(s) you play, I'll add it to our list...

    A lefty from France.

I purchased my MD100 secondhand from a shop in Toronto, i've always wondered if I would ever encounter the original owner, it being such a small community. What years were yours made, and what did you do with them?

don't remember year's of MD100. They was secondhand. The first one was with a big crack at the bottom. the second one was like new, with a very nice finish. I sold It to purchase the ALD which was better to my ear.

Maybe not 'zactly what you are asking for; I'm a sinister lefty, have been all my life. However, I learned violin, guitar and mando family instruments right handed. I guess that's how I learned, since as a beginner playing left handed felt just as unnatural as playing right handed. I would encourage all who currently play left handed to stick with it, don't change! But, for those just starting out, I encourage just as strongly that you learn right handed. You'll have a lot more instruments, resources, etc. available to you.
