Originally **** and John Kinnaird of Dell Arte were having the Pigalle produced by fitting Dell Arte necks to SAGA bodies ( same as Gitanes)
Alain told me a while back they were switching to Music Link. This has finally come to pass.
Here's the latest from Greg Rich, designer at MusicLink. The Paris line will be introduced at NAAM in January. The first offerings will include a Robin Nolan and an Angelo DeBarre Signature model as well as a Pigalle.
Body shapes will be based on Favino and Selmer ( don't know which is which at this point. There will also be a John Jorgensen Mandolin.
Dell Arte will remain responsible for materials, QC, etc. Both Robin Nolan and John Jorgensen are slated to be at the NAAM show for the introduction. The guitars are produced in the sme factory that make the CAROLINA line of guitars for MusicLink.
Should be an interesting alternative to SAGA.
