Definitely check out Alfonso's band Wednesdays at the Green Mill. Unfortunately my band (Hot Club Thing) isn't playing during your visit, but it looks like Le Percolateur is playing (http://www.chicagogypsyjazz.com/).

Oh, and yeah, Tony Ballog moved to San Francisco a year or so ago. Steve Gibons (http://stevegibons.com/) is playing with Alfonso now -- they've played together a long time, stretching back to the early 2000s. Steve is great.
