Finding a reasonably priced factory-made lefty is hard to do. For what it's worth, I bought the only lefty Latcho Drom Nuages I've ever seen from Michael about a year ago. It's a great guitar for the money -- and I paid $1,600 for it. The Altamira is essentially the same guitar (without some of the trim) for a lot less money. If a year ago, I had missed the chance to buy the Latcho Drom and could buy the Altamira now, I'd be grinning ear-to-ear about the money I'm saving. Who knows how often these lefties will come around. Maybe they'll start making more of these, maybe not. So far it's been pretty slim pickings. AE
i have the richwood left handed petite bouche. they are not nice guitars to play. also the fact that the electrics are built in suggests to me that some of the cost is eaten up by the electrics which means it is an even cheaper guitar than it price suggests.
i have contacted harmsworth and willis about left handed editions of their guitars and sadly they have not replied.
several online suppliers have responded regarding my enquiries about the left handed gitane D500 and were not even aware that any had been made. one supplier did suggest that they had made one for paul mcartney at his request.
i'm working on my scouse accent in an attempt to convince them over the phone to make a further one.
my plan B is to get a right handed version and have it converted by my technician. it means losing easy access to the frets above the 12th. an equal concern is whether or not the bracing is symmetrical. would reversing the strings be detrimental to the sound?

It's $1000 not 1000 Euro
Just for ask, what is the price for shipping to Barcelona (Spain)?
It cost $150 to ship it.
Thanks,
M
