Well, just don't sit there....., get out there and VOTE! :P Django was there when we needed him, now it is pay back time.

I'm pretty sure I know how Les would vote.

Gotta love these polls (Do we? Really?). Honest - a little part of me doesn't die when an admittedly pretty cool but not-exactly-rocket-science solo like 'Comfortably Numb' landslides the voting every time they run one of these...

... so, of course, I'll be trying to skew the vote by using every email address I've got :D

I remember the great Portuguese guitarist Carlos Paredes was once quoted as saying sure, the heavy metal players are far better than he (or words to that effect), no doubt to the pleasure of whatever shred-porn rag he was being interviewed for at the time.

    Go figure:

The war on Am7 and Cmaj7 begins here ...
  • On the flip side, if everyone was down with the Django style, think about how much harder it would be to get a Holo.
  • Les was quite open about his huge respect for Django and copying his licks note for note before he got into his Les Paul and Mary Ford gig.
The Magic really starts to happen when you can play it with your eyes closed
