Hey Phil, I know of Yaakov Hoter, that is, Swing de Gitanes from Tel Aviv (although I haven't really searched.) Anyhow, here's a video recording: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gfP3ARGridA

I've also run across YouTube videos by Ori Ben Zvi (like this version of him playing "I'll See You in My Dreams" with two fingers). I believe he's the other guitarist in Swing de Gitanes. So we've identified 1 GJ band in Israel.
