I recently got a video where this monster young player takes a few cracking solos!!
He has a fantastic feel and a great sense of time;i know he takes a superb solo on Tchavolos latest cd and his rhythm playing is tremendous
Whats his background;family history etc
Is he featured on anything else i wonder?

We saw Mayo at DFNW 2005 where he accompanied Samson and he provided a nice suprise to all, by playing some stunning solo lines himself!

I managed to get a few short video clips on my digital camera, that I forwarded to Mr. Royall over on the Hotclub site, he was going to try to put them on there, but don't know where he's at with that. I tried to download them on to this site, but my computer's too slow and doesn't have the capacity to do it.

But, you are right, he is an incredible player who was most impressive. His sound reminded me of Tchavolo's approach.
