Love the drum!
I'd post photos of my man cave, but it's nowhere near as neat as yours. It's my combination music room/guitar storage/library/office/computer room/lounge, all packed into a rather small space. It is the one room in the house where I don't have to adhere to my wife's ideas about housekeeping, i.e., it's cluttered. Hey, if I've got a book out that I might want to refer to sometime in the next week or so, it makes sense to just leave it out, right? And of course, all the guitars have to be handy, 'cause who knows which one I might want to pick up next?

I'm consigned to a 4' x 4' corner of the bedroom (which means that I stop when SHE comes in to go to bed).
I'll post some pics of my Man Cave In Process when it is ready to go.... Basically a pretty slick workshop with an office/practice space in one corner. Right now it is the left over dumping area for all the other honey-do projects that have been going on for the last few years. Fortunately that is over but I need to summon up the will power to go out and shovel it out.
Hey Bones, yes the Gallato Noire is absolutely fantastic! The sound is still maturing, but I've noticed huge change since I first bought it. The tone is like nothing I've heard yet...very akin to some older Selmer guitars I've had the pleasure of playing...dry, wonderful high end, etc. I've also noticed the more I play it the "louder" it gets with less effort, and I'm sure after a few more years it will get even louder. I replaced the bridge with a very high Dupont bridge, which I had to do because this Gallato has a huge top arch (we're talking Busato size here). I've also noticed it has a somewhat thicker depth than regular Selmer size guitars, which I thought was rather interesting and actually makes it more comfortable to play.
I hear some people think Gallato's quality has gone down (maybe there just referring to the cheap "Django" model), but I guarantee this guitar could outshine most others in live situations.
I'm really liking mine also. My only 'complaint' is the traditional neck shape. I'd rather have a more modern, rounded, slimmer neck but at this point I'm pretty much used to it.
I'd really like to try one of the D holes if I could get my hands on one. Did you get yours thru Richard? He is not dealing them anymore as far as I know.

Wish I had a man cave! Hey shawn what's with all the football shirts? I see hull, Swansea, rangers, Sunderland, and burnley! A crazy mixture if teams there man. Where's your liverpool?
Liverpool...LOL. I've been a Swansea fan going on 20+ years now, and if you notice those signed pictures on the walls are various Swansea players. I even have an old photograph from the 1948 Swansea team, which has been signed by the entire team. If you think the wall is bad you should see my closet, I have at least 50 or so Swansea shirts in there and a few others I've picked up over the years. It's a sickness .
PS- The "Sunderland" looking shirt is actually Stevenage Borough 8) .

Wow! How did this come about? I couldn't make the shirts out properly on my phone so Stevenage borough I am evenire impressed ha ha. You know liverpool a manager is the ex Swansea manager yeah?
Yeah, I wasn't too disturbed when Rodgers left us, as much as it pains me that you guys took Joe Allen from us too. I 'm a collector, so I have a bunch of other shirts from non-league clubs including one of my favorites...a match worn Sheffield FC (the oldest club in the world) home shirt from when they played Inter Milan in 2007 for their 150th anniversary.

Are you digging your black Gallato? I'm trying to figure out how to get a D-hole version (the maple one). I really like my oval hole model.

How is yours holding up?
