I just got back from a trip East, where for a day and a half, six of my "family" got together with nine of Jacques Mazzoleni's brood, and guitars were played until my fingers hurt. Attached are a couple of photos we took.

Front row, left to right: Selmer 862, Selmer 448, Selmer 103, Selmer 575, Selmer 763, and Selmer 717.

Second row: The Beast (second from left) with five Busato Grand Modeles.

Third row: Shopis D'Artagnan C, Cousenon Chorus, and Mario Roccia Concert.

Everyone should get to have a day like this once, at least.

The other photo is my fat ass basking in the glow...

Michael
I've never been a guitar player, but I've played one on stage.

Wim, if you are ever Stateside, you stop on over and you can have at all of mine to your hearts content.

It was a cool day, likely never to be repeated, having all those guitars in one place.

Ha! My wife has indulged her former chef-husband by allowing all kinds of monstrosities in our home....(e.g., 1/2 bbl brewing system, my horrible welding, hence the name, "Ugly Betty," years before the show came out). The first pic is of some Beaufort - Some remnant stockpots from our restaurant, built a press, and the caves, two of them (one exclusively for tomme grise), were in our bedroom. I owe her, for that one. I made all French alpine style stuff - Beaufort, reblochon, tommes. My luthier/friend's wife is Swiss......raclette.............ummmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
