I've always liked this solo for such a long time and I can't believe it took so long to get around to working on it. One nice thing about it is that it is at a relaxed tempo without a lot of pyrotechnics so might actually be doable for us mere mortals.

This is the version with the clarinet so I've adapted the clarinet theme for guitar tab and so far I only have the first of Django's 2 choruses but I'll post the second one when I finish it. I think the first chorus transcription is pretty close.

Thanks Jazz. Let me know if you see any errors. I'm not super sure of the chords in measures 23-24 of the second solo chorus so if you have any ideas.

So many great ideas in there. As with all his solos, they make great, fun etudes. I just hope some of it rubs off someday....

Ooops, playing along with it at high volume a found a minor error.

2nd measure of the 2nd chorus, the 6th note should but 7th fret (not 10th).

I was thinking that the fingering would have been awkward for 2 fingers the way I had it. That is always a good back-check (besides that I just had the pitches wrong).

    Sorry about that!
