Thanks, glad you like it!

The old store was from the era before it was common to use separate skins for mobile and desktop browsing. I had to be careful not make the site too wide as that would make viewing difficult on mobile devices.

The new store has a whole separate skin for mobile devices so now the desktop version can be really wide which allows for better placement of content. There are also many other bells and whistles including better image handling and drop down menus.
