I had a short scale 14 fret D hole that Shelley built. I sold it to Jason Vanderford (foolishly) who plays it every day with the bay Area's best Gypsy Jazz bands. It was (is?) a superb instrument.
I sold it to help fund my Favino. The playability of the park was second to none. A modern, American neck that worked well with low action, the guitar was loud and projected well. A Django purist might find the tone to be too warm and modern, and compared to my Dupont, that holds true. But if you want a guitar with first class workmanship (Her fit and finish is better than Favino or Dupont), easy playability and you like a modern warm tone, Shelley's guitars can't be beat.
I played a few of her guitars bacck in 2010, one of which was a D hole but not sure ho many frets.. I am not a GJ purist on the sound ....however my memory is that both were very nice instruments. I preferred the sound of the D hole if memory serves.
I think she learned from Michael Dunn...but not certain of that.
The Magic really starts to happen when you can play it with your eyes closed
I believe there are many happy players of Park guitars here on the forum, but they seem to all be MIA, so I'll chime in.
I've owned several and, like Marc, I find the workmanship to be flawless and the playability to be unbeatable. She also uses beautiful woods and adds an artist's touch to her instruments, while being an extremely nice human and providing great customer service.

That is my opinion, YMMV.

Maybe a D-hole nomade.
Just seems like a better investment right now.
