There is still a demand for English teachers in South Korea. Most English academies here pay $2000-2500/month plus apartment. You don't even need experience. All you need is a bachelors degree in any field, and to be a native speaker of English. In my city, Daegu, there are plenty of opportunities, and the air is much cleaner than in Seoul.
