Couldn't find anything GJ in the downtown area when I was there 3 years ago but there was a great little nightspot down just off the bottom of las Ramblas that had great flamenco jams but not traditional kinda like a Flamenco version of what is going on with Doights d.L'Hoome and Adrien Moignard compared to trad GJ
Age prevents accessing the name of the side street or the club and given the economy there may not still be around but it off to the right a block or two before you hit the big statue at the waterfront coming from town centre.
The Magic really starts to happen when you can play it with your eyes closed
don´t know abouth GJ unfortunately, but Pipa Club (in a corner of plaza real, 1st floor above café glaciar) used to host jam sessions and jazz concerts. don´t know if it still does, but a nice place to sip an horrible (IMHO) spanish beer nevertheless.
enjoy Barcelona!
(BTW, while i´m at it and if you haven´t already, you really should stop at Mercat de Santa Caterina and have a meal there)

Find out if Biel Ballester is playing while you are there, and, if he is, GO!
I've never been a guitar player, but I've played one on stage.
