String suggestions for Yamaha beach guitar???

I am heading to Mexico for a vacation and was thinking about putting some gypsy jazz strings on an old inexpensive Yamaha guitar. Any suggestions of what strings might be best?

What you need is the Maccaferri Plastic guitar to play on the beach!

You can probably get away with Argies, but if you have to use "bronze" acoustic strings, I recommend GHS White Bronze. They're some kind of nickel alloy. Sound great and last forever. I use 'em on my flatops, including my "beach guitar": Little Martin LX beater. Have fun at the beach, just keep the sand out of your sound hole!
