Attaching bridge end pieces

This may seem like a silly question, but one of the end pieces to the side of the bridge of my guitar has fallen off. And I was just wondering what the best way to reattach it would be? I was thinking wood glue, but that's probably a bit to 'permanent' a solution, so maybe double sided tape?

Sorry if this seems like such a silly question. I primarily use them as a guide during shimming the bridge, to make sure I get the appropriate positioning.

Ive seen dbl sided tape and crazy glue gel used.
