Michael, on your sold guitars what is the reason (if any) for removing the price from the listing but leaving the item up on the website? Can you leave the selling price online and just add the world SOLD, to give customers a better indication of where the market is at? This is really useful information for your customers - both buyers and sellers.

I keep many of the old listings up for posterity but leaving the prices up is complicated as they change overtime so if you have an older listing it gets confusing as people may think Favinos and such are only worth $3K!
This is standard practice for most online dealers. In fact, I can't think of anyone who leaves the sold prices up. There's a big difference between running a retail site and publishing a guitar pricing guide. Of course, there are yearly price guides published for more conventional guitars, but for now the Gypsy market is mostly word of mouth.
