For those having zone issues with DVDs, I'd like to recommend the Cyberhome 300S DVD player. It's a super cheap DVD player that you can get from your local electronics store for $30 to $40. Technically, if you're buying it in the US, it's zone 1 only, but a little digging on the internet (like Amazon.com's reviews) will reveal a simple code you can punch into the remote that turns it into an all-region player. Be warned, though: it's not the best piece of electronics equipment in the world. I'm on my second one already. But hey, it's under $40, so whaddaya want?
