Hey all, I just wanted to say that we've greatly improved these transcriptions today. There's now standard notation (sheet music) for each song, including the sax/clarinet/bandoneon parts, and there's a print feature.
The interface has been completely redesigned, too, to go up-down instead of left-right. This makes it much easier to follow along. You can see a preview here: http://www.soundslice.com/v2/portena-agridulce-demo/
Much more to come from Soundslice...working on some more Gonzalo transcriptions at the moment, and other fun stuff after that!
Love it, incredible!
Bravo to You, and P.J.
The print feature and scroll thru the new sheet music is great.
Where does one find other artist stuff for sale?
It be great if the print feature worked with other Soundslice Completed Videos. Any possibility of that soon?
I just noticed the 'settings' pop out where you can control the size, speed, measures per line etc! Really smooth and nice functionality, the way the canvas automatically repaints as you use the slider.
One feature request: can you add another slider which can make the bars more "uniform" (i.e. one side of the slider would have things look like they do currently, and the other extreme would make each bar have equal length). I would like for the playhead to move at constant velocity during playback, and to have an equal number of bars per line.
The addition of meter and dots to Soundslice really makes it slick and professional, great stuff Adrian.
@pickitjohn -- Thanks! The other artist stuff is here: http://www.soundslice.com/pitch-perfect/ Slim pickings at this point, but we'll be adding more very soon. And, yes, we'll be figuring out a way to introduce this new interface to the "completed videos" section (i.e., the YouTube part of the site). Stay tuned...
@wim -- Glad you found those features, as they're a bit hidden! That's a good idea regarding the uniform bars. I refer to it as "time space" vs. "music space"; the YouTube version of Soundslice operates in "time space" and the new version uses "music space." Both have their advantages, and I'm planning to write a blog post on the difference soon. At any rate, it wouldn't be too difficult to add a "time space" feature to this new version; the tradeoff is that the sheet music would be quite spread out in places.

Adrian, cannot send you enough compliments. This method of sectioning and presenting online interactive notation is fabulous. Are there any plans to for the option to export out a pdf for offline learning? I know that gets into a slippery slope. But I'm thinking more lead sheets than any thing else.
