Michael: do you have any video clips or live action reports on these new Schertler mini-amps? In particular, I'm interested in how they compare to the Phil Jones amps of similar size. I realize this would be a small-venue rig, with somewhat limited headroom, but given that, do they provide the same kind of tonal fidelity that a Unico does? Thanks.
The are quite miraculous little units! The famous Schertler tone quality is there, very transparent and even. It doesn't have the midrangey wolf tones that you get with AER and some of the others. However, its small size does limit bass response and projection somewhat. But if you need something for smaller gigs and don't want to sacrifice tone, than this it!
It's similar to the Alesis reverb on the JAM 150. Quite natural and effective. Not as warm as the spring reverb on the Unico, but still more than adequate.

Yes, the Giulia will work with both 115V and 230V power.
