Had a fun day today. Kamlo Barre, Cyril Galliero (luthier par excellence), Titi Bamberger, Irene Ypenburg were all here, and we had a most excellent afternoon jamming on the old guitars. Tonight and tomorrow Kamlo and Titi are continuing on with the Chicago Gypsy Jazz Fest with Alfonso Ponticelli and Swing Gitane. Wednesday's show was fantastic! I had rehearsal Saturday, so missed last night, but the whole shebang continues tonight at the Green Mill. If you are there, please say "hello". I'll be the fat gut up near the front.
