Hello & Thanks ,
I play (beginner ==> intermediate) fingerstyle guitar (mostly country Blues (Lonnie Johnson)) .
And have come across some great gypsyJazz on youTube .
And I understand that there are at least
three of Django fingerstyle guitar pieces (Naguine, Improvisation #2, and Tears).
Is there a sub-group somewhere that does Fingerstyle Gypsy jazz ?
Any tips on best where to start with fingerstyle gypsyJazz guitar .
Thanks..Vernon

That'll keep you going for years. Not all are fingerstyle but all of em can be. In many cases easier than picking if you have some classic technique training.
Beyond that, I don't know, but I'm sure other names will pop up here.
Good luck, Norm
Hearing that should be solid encouragement for any fingerstyle player wanting to play this genre.
yes this Sandro Lorier is a remarkable artist .
I notice that he has (as of today) 29 videos on youtube .
I think i'll slow down one of them to maybe 1/4 speed
to see if I can then follow along .
Thanks for all the suggestions above .
I am tracking them all down .
I ordered the book "Easy Django vol 1" .
Someone above mentioned flamenco ,
Is flamenco basically fingerstyle ?
Thanks again...Vernon
