Here is a luthier in Savannah, GA which is pretty close to SC. Andres Oberg is on their list of players but their Gypsy model doesn't really look or sound traditional. It looks like they mostly make great looking jazz guitars. Take lots of cash!

Thanks, jonpowl. Not too far from me. Really just need fret setup and stuff and my luthier, who is fantastic, knows nothing about gypsy guitars. My frets seem awful high, but it may be thtabim used to the almost nonexistent ones on my '65 Gretsch Double Anniversary which has been my main guitar for years.
