Anyone using the AER AK-15 Plus Pickup?

I stumbled across the AER AK-15 Plus Pickup System and it seems like it would be the perfect ideal - a piezo and mic in one system with blending abilities between the two. The only reviews I've found are on other acoustic guitar forums, not gypsy jazz specific, and I'm really hoping someone can provide some feedback about using it for gypsy jazz.
At $230 + Installation it is not quite an impulse buy!
