Does any body have first hand experience with brass and nickel Dupont tailpieces? Is the sound difference worth the $65? Do you feel that a Paris Swing GG 39 is suitable to accept the aftermarket piece? Please any input is appreciated.
@steteak The biggest difference is the strength....the Asian made DR tailpieces that come on the Paris Swing and Dell Arte guitars fail frequently. I don't think I've ever seen one of Dupont's tailpieces break. Tonally, the Dupont tailpieces seem to produce less unwanted overtone ringing which is a plus.

Is that true of the $65.00 as well as the $150.00?
Are they pressed metal or molded?
Original Question "Is the sound difference worth the $65?"
Would you recommend putting one on a Paris Swing Guitar?

I think they are pressed...Dupont has Busato original stamp which I believe he uses to make all his tailpieces, cool!

The effect varies from guitar to guitar. Sometimes it's very subtle, while other times it will transform a completely wet, ringy guitar into something special.
Would you recommend putting one on a Paris Swing Guitar?
Probably wouldn't be as big of tonal change with the Paris Swing as they are fairly dry to begin with.
