Wim, I wasn't saying the Japanese rhythm player was bad.. I regret my words were not better crafted...it's just that at times the pompe and what Adrien was playing were perhaps not the most coherent statement.

Very very demanding to play cogent rhythm under Adrien's lead in that arrangement of Nuages.

Great stuff! I'd much rather listen to live jazz in a small club, in spite of the background chatter, than in a stuffy concert hall. These guys are on the top of their game. Makes me want to book a flight to Paris. Thanks for posting.
