Serge's responses to queries about where these were built are not conclusive. He has stated that all of the materials are European, hardware is European, and assembly is done in his shops in Spain and France, but it is still not clear whether the whole instrument is built in Europe. I suspect that the bodies may be built in Asia, possibility the necks as well, and final assembly and setup in done in Europe. The guitars are still a good deal for the price, very authentic sounding. My only complaint about them was the bulky square neck, and the modification to this one may be a welcome change.

Unfortunately no, I don't have any means of recording right now.
I will say it's tone leans much more toward the original selmer camp, very strong and clear in the high end and less so in the mid range as opposed to the favinos. I think most Gallato owners have a similar experience, there should be a few reviews of this guitar out there
